As much as i know i shouldnt say it im going to, I get bored very easily indoors!
My indoor range is open 24/7 which is very lucky! it is about 3 Danage bosses wide so can get i bit full at times.
I normaly shoot with Roy Nash and Rob Hallworth (i feel a bit safer down there at night with two strong men) one day we were doing a bit of stamina shooting and had shot 2 rounds and were heading for the 3rd.
I said i was bord of this and lets play a game instead and had a think abouth what we could do.
I came up with a game really for helping with H2Hs
You have your own fita 18 face have to hit closest to the middle to get a point.
you shoot one at a time so you can see where your apponents arrow has gone and what you have to do to beat them.
so each end you could gain 3 points and it could all be over in 7ends or quite a few later!
the lower scoring player shoots first.
If its just a pair of us we will do best out of three.
We have also shot to 11 points then taken each others faces and moved them to any place any angle on the boss which works quite well on a danage! This then makes you really concentrate!
Hope you can have the time to give it a go!
World Indoor Selection Shoot
Date: 21/01/2009 13:30
well i was up at the crack of dawn and off to lillleshall for the selection shoot. i decided to travel down in the morning because as much as i like lilleshall and spend a lot of time there i love my own bed!
I was a little nervous because im not that confident indoors but then i found out that aswell as Naomi not shooting because of shoulder repairs that Amy Oliver wouldnt be either. This made me a little less nervous because i reguard them both as top class indoor archers!
So there we had it just 4 people shooting for 3 spots on the team.
My qualification went real well, i did become a bit distracted on a few arrows but still managed to put a FITA18 pb in off 574 which ranked me in first spot by 9 points!
On to the matches and i won all 3 with 115, 116,116! The best thing was i diddnt encure any minus points from the selection system the whole day.
Hear i come Poland!
Cracking

Will i have enough arrows to get me through the World indoor Selection shoot?
Its the only problem with my arrows so far, some have cracked in inpact! I dont think i can steal anymore from my dad!
Portsmouth Record

woo hoo!
Ever since i was a young girl the Junior Portsmouth record was always a goal of mine and i never hit it!
However i think getting the Senior Record is so much better!
593!!! Those aluminiums must be working!
Carbons or Aliuminiums
Date: 21/01/2009 13:05
This has always been a hard question for me. I have always tended to shoot carbons indoors but people would always ask my why i didnt give Ali's a go? I would more than offen say "they dont shoot as nice and i cant get them to tune properly" which was often the case when i tried them.
This season with the help of Roy we played around with a load of diffrent spines that mainly came from either his arrow tube or my dads!
Ive got to say that I still dont feel confident over the bareshaft tune, they just seem to be compleatly random sometimes!
So there we go Aluminiums it is, which took a bit of getting used to! i do still think you have to shoot them diffrent to carbons but thats what the hours of practice are used for!

Hi all,
I hope the indoor training is going good for you all, I have to admit I went to Australia and absolutly loved shooting outdoors again, I cant wait for the outdoor season to start!
Over the winter I have changed my equipment. Im now shooting a Hoyt Nexus and 900CX limbs. Ive got to say its diffrent from shooting the Samick but after a week of getting used to it i love it and feel that i have so much control over my bow and not the other way round.
The handle is a nice weight which helps to keep my front shoulder relaxed and has a nice reaction after shot.
The 900cx Limbs are really nice aswell, compared with the G3's I had been shooting they feel slightly smoother and faster. Im shooting 44# which feels more like 42# which can only be a good thing.

Hi
So I have been shooting since i was 10ys old and it all seems to have zipped by and hear i am at 20ys old training for the Olympics.
I first started shooting internationals in 2001 with the junior team and have been going away on the senior team since 2004.
One of my proudest moment was at the Junior Worlds at Lilleshall when i shot my first 1300 on home soil.
Im trying to work out a few tecnique issues at the moment and it is slowley inproving and im sure i will be back on track for the Olympics in the month to come.
I would like to thank Graham and everybody at Clickers for there advice and help given to me over the years.
Good Shooting
