Arrows Archery Care Home Kit - Two Bow Pack

In 2012, Clickers Archery teamed up with Archery GB to introduce soft archery into schools. Since then, Arrows Archery has brought archery to many young people across the country, encouraging exercise, competitiveness and fun!

In recent years, we have become aware that this same soft archery kit, with a few changes, could be used in both care and nursing homes.

Now in 2025 we bring you the Care Home Edition! This pack allows residents of care homes and nursing homes to try archery with their fellow residents, having many benefits such as:

• Keeping the mind active
• Strengthening muscles
• Helping with numeracy
• Improving hand-eye coordination
• Building confidence
• Incites competitiveness

The kit contains a guide to enable a Care Home Activity Staff member to safely run an archery session indoors or outdoors at your home.

The Care Home kit also contains a Thera band and a roll of soft tape to allow residents of all abilities to shoot. The Thera band acts as a more gentle alternative to holding the string for residents with arthritis or similar conditions. For residents with the use of only one arm, the soft tape allows them to try mouth shooting.

We hope that this kit will help build the confidence and entertain the residents of care homes across the nation, as well as visiting youngsters on intergenerational sessions.

The two bow kit is recommended for sessions of between 2 to 4 residents and contains:

• 2x Bows
• 6x Arrows (3 Red Nock and 3 Yellow Nock)
• 2x Targets
• 2x Bracers
• 1x 'A Guide for Care Home Staff Activity Staff' Booklet with a score card insert
• Soft Tape for mouth shooting
• Thera Band for assisted shooting
• 1x Target Bag
