Alex Currums

Profile:
Alex first started archery in 2017, finding the love for the sport through attending a have a go session with her local cub group.

I quickly advanced to shoot for my county in Cheshire in 2018 as a junior leading onto being invited to join the Archery GB
National Talent Development Program at Lillishall.

Since 2018, I have shot for Cheshire County continuously every year until the present day. In 2022 I first represented England for my first ever
international cap for the CACE tournament in Scotland, with my most recent cap being in 2024 for the home nations cup winning team Gold.

I continuously help with scout archery sessions, hoping to influence young people to take up the sport just like I did. Being able to
share my story with others and inspire the next generation of archers coming through as well as my local club Bebington Archers.
