Violet Walker

Profile:
Violet started archery at eight years old so she could join her dad when he was shooting. She couldn’t get the arrows to stick in the target even at five yards with a recurve so that was when she switched to barebow compound.
At thirteen she was selected for the Senior Compound Team for Shropshire - and 2025 will be her fourth year on the team.
Violet is on the compound pathway for Archery GB, and 2024 was her first year on the National Squad.
2024 saw her competing for Great Britain Internationally at the European Youth Cup and European Youth Championships gaining two compound women’s team silvers and individual fourth place in the Youth Cup.
This year she has been selected for the European Youth Cup and also the World Youth Championships.
